Džumhur injured: Possible end of season for Bosnian tennis player

(Patria) - Damir Džumhur in today's doubles match, playing alongside Filip Krajinović, injured his shoulder at 5-4 while attempting to return the ball to the court.

Unfortunately, Damir was unable to continue the match, and after a medical examination, a fracture of the acromioclavicular ligaments and bone contusion were diagnosed.

In translation, this means Damir faces a break of four to six weeks, possibly until the end of the season.

“Unfortunately, the worst happened. I had the misfortune of falling awkwardly while holding the racket with both hands, so I couldn't soften the fall. The news is bad, but I hope the recovery will be shorter than expected and that the season is not completely lost. I will try to return as soon as possible! This break didn't come at the best time, because I was slowly regaining form, but I have no doubt that I will return even stronger and more stable.
