Džumhur: When I settled things in my head, I started playing my best tennis

Damir Džumhur, after one of the biggest wins of his career against the world's fourth-ranked player, Alexander Zverev, did not hide his satisfaction, writes the Patria agency.

- I knew it would be difficult, Saša is one of the best in the world. He is the youngest player in the Top 10 and already has a phenomenal season behind him. I hoped my game would be at the highest level, as it has been for some time, and that happened.

In the crucial moments, I played my best, I was calm and I played my best precisely when it was needed – Džumhur said after the match.

Džumhur emphasized that his great performance came after he settled his mind.

- A great victory for me, definitely one of the biggest in my career, and I think I celebrated deservedly. I am sure that my biggest problem was in my head.

When I 'settled my mind', I started playing better, and I showed that today when I saved three set points. I played three excellent points on the opponent's set points. Those are the crucial moments that give me strength, and my head is the factor why I play this kind of tennis – Džumhur stated.
