Judo Federation of BiH opens the season with the European Junior Cup in Sarajevo

(Patria) - The Judo Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as one of the best event organizers and officially the best technical organizer in 2022, will host a new European competition - the European Junior Cup.

The competition, with the participation of 23 countries and over 300 competitors, will be held this weekend at Hills, and the draw for the competition is scheduled for tomorrow. The host country, Bosnia and Herzegovina, will be represented by 61 competitors, of which 32 are male and 29 are female. A large number of competitors are expected from Turkey, as well as from the countries of the region, Serbia, Croatia, and Montenegro.

The BiH representatives from whom the most is expected at this competition are Ahmed Mulalić, Lazar Ždrale, Elma Poprženović, Petar Kožul, and Sofija Pajić. Given their international experience so far, we can rightly say that medals are not out of reach.

The Judo Federation of BiH emphasizes that everything is ready for the first of a total of five competitions that our country will organize. Let's also add that judo is one of the most successful Olympic sports and that hosting such competitions is an excellent encouragement for young judokas.
