Thousands to attend funeral and burial of Halid Bešlić, police to establish traffic and movement regime

(Patria) - The funeral prayer and burial of BiH singer Halid Bešlić will be held in Sarajevo on Monday, October 13.

The funeral prayer will be held in the courtyard of the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque at 1:30 PM, after which the procession with the vehicle carrying Halid Bešlić's coffin will move through Ferhadija Street, and will join the main street near the Eternal Flame.

"The mournful procession will continue towards Bare, and all citizens who wish to bid farewell to Halid Bešlić will be able to do so," announced Halid Bešlić's management.

The Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Directorate is finalizing the plan for Monday, and the public will be informed about the traffic and movement regime on that day, given that the presence of tens of thousands of people is expected from BiH, as well as from the region and the world.

The Sarajevo Canton Government has declared Monday, October 13, a Day of Mourning in the Sarajevo Canton.

Halid Bešlić will be buried at 3:00 PM at the Bare cemetery, while the tevhid will be recited on Monday after the asr prayer (at 4:00 PM) at the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque.
