Funeral for young doctor Aida Softić to be held tomorrow in Sarajevo

(Patria) - The funeral for doctor Aida Softić (33), who died two days ago (July 30) in a serious traffic accident when a rock fell on her moving car on the road to Foča, killing her instantly, will be held tomorrow (August 2) at 11:00 AM at the Vlakovo City Cemetery in Sarajevo.

A tevhid will also be recited on the same day at 11:00 AM in the Bačićko polje mosque (Omer ibn el-Hattab) in Stup.

The obituary and information about the final farewell of young Aida were published by the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Service, the collective where she worked.

"On behalf of the collective of the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service Institute, we express our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all colleagues. We will remember Aida for her cheerful spirit, professionalism, and selfless dedication to her work and patients. The departure of our colleague leaves a great void in our hearts and team, as well as a lasting memory of a wonderful person with whom we had the honor of sharing the daily challenges and humanity of our profession. May God Almighty grant her eternal peace and the most beautiful place in Paradise," stated the collective of the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service Institute.

Aida was in the passenger seat when she tragically died in the morning hours on the road to Foča, specifically at the Sijeračke stijene location.
