Funeral for Mirza Raščić today at 2 PM at Vlakovo

Today at 2 PM at the Vlakovo cemetery, Mirza Raščić, a fan of FK Željezničar who was brutally murdered in the premises of the FK Željezničar Fan Association at the Grbavica stadium on Thursday evening, will be buried, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

Mirza (26) was a bright spot in the Bosnian reality, the first smile of the South Stand, and his youth was tragically cut short at the moment he was collecting money to travel to an away match of his beloved club in Vitez. Mirza is survived by his mother and sister; his father died in the war.

Today, his Manijaci, friends, relatives, and acquaintances will bid farewell to Mirza on his eternal journey.

Yesterday, the Manijaci organized a collection of donations on the plateau in front of the Grbavica stadium to pay for the funeral and at least ease the burden on the family of this young man.

At 4 PM, Željo will play a match in Vitez, a match without the support of the Manijaci. This time, the Manijaci will bid farewell to their brother with the dignity he deserves. The Manijaci will gather on the plateau in front of Grbavica, and several buses will be organized to Vlakovo.

MURDERER ARRESTED

Izudin Tahirović, Mirza Raščić's murderer, was arrested the same night and handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of KS, where pre-trial detention was ordered for him.
