ROME, (Patria) - Edin Džeko is celebrated not only by Roma fans but by all lovers of Italian football and Roma.
Thanks to the captain of the BiH national team, Serie A will have two representatives in the Champions League quarter-finals after a full 11 years. This morning, Džeko also briefly posted on social media, saying he is looking forward to the quarter-finals and the draw.
The last time Italians had two representatives was in the 2006/2007 season, when besides Roma, AC Milan was also present and eventually became European champions.
This season, Juventus will defend Serie A's honour among the top eight teams alongside the Giallorossi.
The quarter-final draw is on Friday.
