Džeko full of emotion after scoring: The feeling is fantastic

Edin Džeko, after last night's Roma match against Juventus in which he scored the second goal for the final 2:1, after the first was scored by Miralem Pjanić, was particularly emotional because it was his first goal in Roma's official matches, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

As he said after the match, it was a deserved victory for the team and the fans with whom he has already built an excellent relationship.

- This is a night to remember, from the first to the last minute. We played excellently and I believe we deserved the win.

When asked what it felt like to score a goal and celebrate with the fans at the Olimpico, the Bosnian Diamond did not hide his emotions.

- The feeling is fantastic. It was very emotional, so many emotions in one goal. I was waiting for my first goal in Serie A and it happened. I am happy for myself, the team and the fans.

He specifically noted that both goals were scored by Bosnians.

- We all know how good Mire is. He is one of the most important players in the team and I don't think the goal he scored is anything new for the fans. We know he can score a goal in this way (free kick, editor's note). I am happy we are on the same team.
