Džeko: We passed one million, in Brazil we will make you proud

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team will play a friendly match against Mexico in Chicago on Tuesday night into Wednesday (3:30 AM local time). It will be the second control match for Safet Sušić's selected players after the 2-1 triumph over the Ivory Coast national team. Ahead of this match, one of the best individuals in the team, Edin Džeko, spoke on his official Facebook page thanking fans for „passing one million“, writes the Patria news agency.

Džeko actually sent a message that his fan page has over one million likes.

- We passed one million. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being with me and with the national team. You were with us in the toughest moments and gave us the strength to bravely move forward. Your support, and even your criticism, always found their way to us, and that is why I promise you, first on my behalf, and then on behalf of all the national team players, that in Brazil we will do everything to make you proud once again, because your attention, your wishes, your unconditional love, makes us proud. Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart, because without you we would not be here either – wrote Džeko.

This match against Mexico will conclude the American tour, after which the team travels to Brazil. In the two previous friendly matches against Mexico, the Bosnian national team has recorded two defeats.
