Džeko: Mersad, hang in there, good boy!

A boy from Zavidovići, Mersad K., who traveled from Sarajevo to Italy last night to a clinic in Genoa after suffering severe burns in the basement while trying to start a generator, is receiving support from all sides. The latest wishes for recovery came from the Bosnian Dragon Edin Džeko, who told the boy to be strong.

Doctors in Genoa are fighting for the life of the sixteen-year-old, and the flight went without major problems, confirmed Mirsad Kebo, Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is responsible for the boy being transferred to Genoa so quickly, for the Patria News Agency.

Otherwise, Mersad is a black belt holder and a big fan of the BiH national team. Doctors consider his youth a great advantage in his fight for life.
