In last night's 4-0 victory of Roma against Villarreal, Edin Džeko scored a hat-trick, and after the match the Diamond dedicated the win and the ball to his daughter Una, Patria reports.
With these three goals, Džeko moved to the top of the Europa League scoring chart with eight goals. Roma's team literally stormed through El Madrigal.
Roma captain Daniele De Rossi also had words of praise for the Diamond.
- We played a very good match. Emerson proved he is a quality player, and Edin Džeko confirmed that this season he is playing at a top level. Besides that, Džeko once again proved to everyone that he is class and possesses a champion's mentality - said De Rossi.
