Džeko: I scored the goal for the fans and the club

Edin Džeko, striker for Italian club Roma, scored a goal for the Giallorossi last night in the match against Bayer Leverkusen, assisted by teammate Salah, bringing the score to 2:0, writes the BH news agency Patria.

According to Roma's official website, Džeko was one of the stars in last night's victory over the visitors, with the final score being 3:2.

- This goal is for the fans and the club - Džeko said after the match.

- They have always supported me and never put pressure on me. I am glad that my goal contributed to the victory. It was very important for the team and the club.

The Diamond also said that he hopes to score more goals in the upcoming matches because that is what people expect from him. The third goal for Roma was scored by Miralem Pjanić from a penalty.
