Džeko: We got a group where we can play against anyone

(Patria) - I think we got a group where we can play against any opponent, said Edin Džeko after today's draw of qualification groups in Dublin for the European Football Championship.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team has been placed in group J along with the selections of Italy, Finland, Greece, Armenia, and Liechtenstein.

"Italy is the first favorite on paper, and we are playing with the Greeks again, who obviously cannot avoid us in the qualifiers. We have to give our best in every match, as we have done so far, and hope for the best. We have the quality, and we will see what it will be enough for. The desire is, of course, to qualify for the Euro, and we will do our best to achieve it," said the Dragons' captain.

The qualifiers will be played from March to November 2019, and the top two teams from each group will qualify for the Euro.

EURO 2020 will be played in 12 cities and countries: Rome (Italy), London (England), Baku (Azerbaijan), Bilbao (Spain), Copenhagen (Denmark), Munich (Germany), Budapest (Hungary), Dublin (Republic of Ireland), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Bucharest (Romania), St. Petersburg (Russia), and Glasgow (Scotland).

The European Championship will begin on June 12, 2020, with a match in Rome, and the final will be played on July 12 at Wembley Stadium in London.
