Džeko congratulates Dragons on winning Kirin Cup: Let's go all the way to Russia

I want to congratulate the guys who played in Japan on their great effort and excellent result – said Dragons captain Edin Džeko, after Bosnia and Herzegovina won the Kirin Cup in Japan today.
Džeko could not go to Japan due to injury, but he obviously closely followed the Dragons' excellent play.

- I also congratulate selector Baždarević, especially because he managed to expand the list of candidates for the qualifiers. 
It is clear that we need every player, given that our common goal is qualification for the World Cup, and the guys in Japan showed that they must and can be seriously counted on – Džeko wrote on his Facebook profile.

The captain said that he does not pay much attention to negative comments, which have been directed at some players in the national team in recent days. For the national team, he said, he has always given and will always give a thousand percent and will play as long as the selector calls him. 

- I am proud to be the captain and all-time top scorer of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and I am also proud of the guys who won the Kirin Cup. All together, the guys who played in Japan, but also us, who have been part of the national team for years, make one team, one family and have only one common wish - to make all the fans of our common homeland happy and qualify for yet another major competition.
