Džeko to finalise his move to Roma very soon

Roma and Sporting Gijon will soon finalise the loan of Antonio Sanabria, thus freeing up a spot for Edin Džeko, who arrived in Italy last Thursday, but his transfer could not yet be completed due to the filled quota of non-EU players in Roma, reports football-italia.net, as carried by the Patria agency.

As soon as Paraguayan striker Antonio Sanabria leaves for Spain, Džeko will finally be able to finalise his move to Roma, joining Mohamed Salah and Iago Falque who arrived this summer.

We recall that Džeko was greeted at the airport by thousands of fans who sang and celebrated the arrival of the Bosnian Diamond and captain of our national team. Džeko will thus, after a long time, again play alongside one of his teammates, namely Miralem Pjanić. Earlier, he played in Wolfsburg with Zvjezdan Misimović.
