SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović spoke today by phone with the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan about the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey regarding the efforts both countries are making to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
The interlocutors emphasized that the pandemic can only be overcome through joint and coordinated activities of the entire world.
Džaferović thanked for the assistance that the Republic of Turkey was among the first to provide to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
President Erdoğan said that the assistance from the Republic of Turkey will continue, in the form of medical equipment necessary to stop the spread of COVID-19.
President Erdoğan assessed the measures taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina as timely, yielding good results. Also, President Erdoğan called for unity and joint work of everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
