
SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović, spoke with the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia, Zorica Bukinac, about the fight against the coronavirus pandemic and the measures being taken to protect people's health and reduce the economic consequences.
It was jointly assessed that the measures taken by institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia were correct and timely.
Ambassador Bukinac emphasized that Slovenia's representatives in the institutions of the European Union strongly advocate for the support that the EU is providing to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against the pandemic, the BiH Presidency announced.
The ambassador informed Chairman Džaferović that the Government of Slovenia is also unilaterally preparing a bilateral package of support and assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Džaferović emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia are true friends, which is also evident in situations like this. He wished the President, Government, and people of Slovenia a swift recovery from the crisis caused by the pandemic with as few consequences as possible.
