Džaferović: Grabar-Kitarović uses vocabulary of convicted war criminals

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The latest statements made by Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović during her visit to Israel, in which she accuses Bosnia and Herzegovina of being "under the control of militant Islam", and that "Bosnia and Herzegovina is run by people connected to Iran and terrorist organizations", represent vile accusations that are not supported by any evidence, according to a statement from the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović.

"It is clear to everyone in Europe and the world that these are lies fabricated by the aggressive and xenophobic policy of official Zagreb towards Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bosniaks, which has all the elements of fascism. The statements of the Croatian President represent the same propaganda vocabulary used by convicted war criminals and leaders of the so-called Herceg-Bosna when they tried to justify the monstrous crimes they committed against Bosniaks.

Instead of distancing herself from the visit of Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Milijan Brkić to convicted war criminal Bruno Stojić, which any president of a civilized country would do, Grabar-Kitarović has in this way given support to that policy of a joint criminal enterprise, which is the real source of instability and undermining of peace in the region.

Let the Croatian President deal with the growing radicalization and militant neo-fascist movements in her own country, instead of meddling in other people's yards and launching attacks aimed at damaging the reputation of Bosnia and Herzegovina," the statement said.
