Banja Luka's 'Dream Team' travels to The Hague in vain, General Mladić has no more salvation

(Patria) - A team of doctors from the University Clinical Center (UKC) RS, led by Vlado Đajić, travels to The Hague tomorrow. Their wish is to examine war criminal Ratko Mladić in the detention unit.

If everything goes according to plan, they hope to examine him on Wednesday, February 21.

The General Director of UKC claims that he is bringing with him "a very professional team of doctors, professors, forensic experts, cardiologists, and the head of neurology".

Đajić wants to ascertain the health condition of the war criminal

- We want to determine if all necessary tests have been performed and if Mladić is receiving adequate therapy - says Đajić.

The goal of the visit by the UKC medical team is, he adds, to see "if there are any oversights and if they can contribute to improving the health condition of Ratko Mladić", who was otherwise sentenced to life imprisonment.

They also wish, they add, to ascertain his condition and see if there are any prerequisites for him to be treated elsewhere.

Murat Tahirović, president of the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide, believes that this is purely marketing by the ruling oligarchy from the smaller BiH entity.

- Convicted war criminal Ratko Mladić, who is still in the detention unit in Scheveningen, managed to arrange for doctors from UKC Banja Luka to visit him.

And nothing would be controversial about it if it were a top clinic of world renown, and not a UKC whose rating in serious professional and scientific institutions does not even exist.

That same UKC did not care much about Ratko Mladić's health while he was hiding in the Bosnian and Serbian wilderness. They let him come to The Hague in a semi-dead state, where Dutch doctors practically brought him back to life and gave him another fifteen years of solid life.

And now, after even top Dutch doctors cannot help the war criminal, doctors from UKC Banja Luka appear - the "Dream Team to save the general".

And if that team includes a doctor from Brčko with experience in hiding the bones of Srebrenica genocide victims, then it is a true salvation for the war criminal.

To be clear, this is pure marketing by the ruling oligarchy from the smaller BiH entity, and there is no help for the war criminal. As long as the world exists, he will remain a war criminal - Tahirović told the Patria News Agency.
