Two traffic accidents slowed down traffic on the Žepče - Maglaj and Srebrenik - Lončari roads, with traffic jams expected at border crossings

(Patria) - After a multi-hour closure due to a traffic accident on the main road Žepče-Maglaj, near Tatarbudžak, vehicles are now alternating, using one lane.

For the same reason, traffic was also stopped on the main road Srebrenik-Lončari, near Ormanica.

Two people died in these accidents.

BIHAMK expects increased vehicle traffic today, both on the roads in BiH and at border crossings.

Due to high daytime temperatures, we recommend traveling longer distances in the early morning or evening hours. We ask truck drivers to temporarily exit the traffic when they notice a long queue forming behind them, to avoid risky overtaking.

Due to works on the section of the regional road Brčko-Cerik (Bukvičko brdo), traffic is stopped and diverted to alternative routes (M-1.8 Cerik-Lončari-Brčko, for passenger vehicles Donja Skakava-Ulice-Vitanovići).

Due to renovation works at the intersection near Rudanka, traffic is slowed down on the main road Doboj-Rudanka-Johovac and the regional road Razboj-Rudanka.

Works are underway on the main road M-5 in Sarajevo (transit, from the roundabout in Hrasno to the turn for Vraca), due to which traffic is slowed down, using one lane, every day (except Sunday) between 07:00 and 16:30.

Traffic is also slower due to works during the day on the main roads: Bugojno-Kupres, Ripač-Dubovsko, Vitez-Nević Polje, Livno-Kamensko, and Semizovac-Olovo, as well as at the entrance to Bugojno (from the direction of Rostovo), Kladanj (from the direction of Olovo), Stolac, and Hadžići.

Due to road subsidence at the entrance to Vinac from the direction of Donji Vakuf (M-5/16 Donji Vakuf-Jajce), only one lane is in operation, and the speed is limited to 20 km/h.

Due to the bicycle race, traffic will be slowed down today between 11:00 and 14:00 on the main road M-4 in Tuzla (between the "Siporex" roundabout and Brčanska Malta). We ask drivers who will be using this section to drive slower and to follow the instructions of the authorized escort personnel.

There is increased vehicle traffic at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the border crossings: Velika Kladuša, Izačić, and Bosanska Gradiška. At other border crossings, vehicle traffic is occasionally increased, but delays for passenger vehicles have not exceeded 30 minutes so far.
