Two million protective masks arrived from Malaysia

(Patria) - Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of BiH and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bisera Turković last night, in the late evening hours, with the Ambassador of Malaysia and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Head of Cabinet of the Chairperson of the Presidency of BiH, welcomed the plane from Malaysia with medical equipment intended to help Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against the coronavirus.

A shipment of two million protective masks was delivered.

The aid arrived after talks between the Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović, and the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Muhyiddin Yassin, regarding the coronavirus pandemic. The humanitarian aid received is a confirmation of the decades-long friendly relations between the two countries. According to the Ambassador of Malaysia, Malaysia, which is itself facing problems caused by the pandemic, will continue to help Bosnia and Herzegovina in the future.
