Two days after jumping from a building, 32-year-old woman from Brčko succumbs to injuries

A 32-year-old woman from Brčko, identified by initials L.M., succumbed to injuries at the University Clinical Centre in Tuzla, which she sustained after jumping from the sixth floor of a residential building in Brčko on Saturday evening, 29 November, confirmed Brčko police spokesperson Halid Emkić, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria. 

For reasons still unknown, the woman jumped from a building on Meše Selimovića Street in the centre of Brčko.

"Immediately after the report of this incident, the woman was given emergency medical care at the Emergency Centre in Brčko, and then transferred to Tuzla, where doctors were unable to save her life," Emkić told reporters.

According to him, this is the eleventh suicide in the Brčko District this year - eight men and three women, while last year six people "took their own lives", of which five were men and one woman.
