Dušanka Bošković Appointed New Minister of Science, Higher Education and Youth of Canton Sarajevo, Mesihović Takes Over Deputy Mandate

(Patria) - Dušanka Bošković is the new Minister of Science, Higher Education and Youth of Canton Sarajevo, decided by the Assembly of Canton Sarajevo at today's session with 19 votes in favor.

Although all the deputies who participated in the discussion emphasized that the CV of the proposed candidate is spotless, part of the opposition disputed the nomination procedure, claiming it was unconstitutional.

The head of the SDA Club, Mahir Dević, requested an individual vote. SDA deputies were against, while SBiH and DF deputies abstained.

Minister Bošković then gave a solemn statement, officially assuming office. Bošković is a full professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Sarajevo and the current Vice-Rector for Quality.

Then Adna Mesihović also took a solemn statement, thereby assuming the mandate of a deputy in the Assembly of Canton Sarajevo. She was relieved of her duties as minister at today's session. Mesihović is under investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of Canton Sarajevo for abuse of office, in connection with illegal employment.
