(Patria) - Kristina Mladenović (30) has for years been considered one of the most unstable world tennis players.
She is a girl who, on one hand, has Grand Slam titles (as many as six in women's doubles, three in mixed doubles), and on the other hand, has collected ignominious negative records on the WTA Tour in singles.
The Frenchwoman of Serbian descent set the longest streak of consecutive losses (15) at the beginning of 2018, after which she stated that she "cannot continue like this".
Yesterday in Guadalajara, Mexico, she hit a new low. She was defeated 6:0, 6:0 by the world's 87th ranked player, Spaniard Cristina Bucșa, in a match that lasted only 56 minutes.
On her way to two "bagels", Mladenović won 25 points and had a devastating 36 percent of points won on her first serve, and 20 percent on her second serve.
This was her third consecutive loss, and in those three matches combined, she won six games, with the added detail that she retired against the Brazilian Pigossi in Barranquilla.
She currently holds the 192nd place in the WTA rankings, which is why she has been trying to collect points at ITF tournaments for some time, writes Sportske novosti.
