Dumančić sent only favorites on attractive extraditions

The Deputy Director of the BiH Border Police, Enes Gačanin, who is under disciplinary proceedings due to the case of Edvin Kutlovac, informed the Director of the Border Police in writing in mid-last year about observed malversations and mobbing in this state agency, the BiH news agency Patria (NAP) has learned.

In a detailed letter sent to Vinko Dumančić, the BiH Ministry of Security, and the American ICITAP, Gačanin, among other things, warned about suspicious activities and unequal treatment during extraditions.

Namely, Gačanin noticed that "attractive extraditions" were given only to certain employees, and usually to those close to management. When extraditing certain individuals, the Border Police send their officers to escort the extradited persons to their destination. This often means traveling to attractive destinations around the world and high daily allowances!

- Some employees had as many as 11 extraditions in one year, while some had only one or two - Gačanin wrote.

In addition, Gačanin stated in the letter that he noticed similar practices with sending police officers to courses and training, where individuals close to the management were privileged. This is only part of the justified complaints that Gačanin sent to Dumančić.

Among other things, he warned that the Director of the BP BiH, despite Gačanin being the deputy and an appointed official, had completely isolated him from the agency's management process and accused him of "working behind his back." It is not excluded, as some sources from the BP suggest, that this very letter, which contained serious accusations against Dumančić, could have been one of the motives for initiating disciplinary proceedings against Gačanin.

We remind you that the proceedings were initiated after one of the BP employees left the peacekeeping mission in South Sudan, and Gačanin was accused of misleading the authorities about the case.
