Long-time sports journalist Zlatan Rašidović passed away today in Sarajevo

(Patria) - Long-time sports journalist Zlatan Rašidović (47) passed away today in Sarajevo.

He spent the largest part of his journalistic career at Oslobođenje, for almost two decades. Recently, he was a freelance contributor to the Al Jazeera Balkans portal.

Rašidović also wrote for the Mostar-based Dnevni list, featuring interviews with football stars, then for Interview.ba – reviews of football and handball events, interviews for Dnevnik.ba, and Bordo fan, the magazine for Sarajevo fans. He recently published the book "Giants of BiH Sports" which contains 35 interviews conducted for the Al Jazeera portal between October 2017 and November 2019.

Zlatan Rašidović will be remembered as a great professional, dedicated to his work, a benevolent colleague, and well-liked in journalistic circles.

The place and date of Zlatan Rašidović's funeral will be announced later.
