Long vehicle queues at several border crossings on exit from BiH

(Patria) - Fog, occasionally very dense, reduces visibility on sections along the rivers Bosna, Sava, Vrbas and Spreča, as well as on the roads Bosanski Petrovac-Ključ, Bosanski Petrovac-Oštrelj-Drvar and Ključ-Vrhpolje, as well as in certain parts of Sarajevo and Tuzla.

At the border crossings Izačić, Hadžin Potok, Velika Kladuša, Gradiška, Brod, Dubica, Kostajnica, Gradina and Orašje, there are long vehicle queues on exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina. At other border crossings, passenger vehicles do not wait long to cross the border, BIHAMK announced.

Due to road damage, traffic is still suspended on the main road Jablanica-Blidinje, while on the main road Jablanica-Mostar all categories of vehicles are moving.

Due to works on replacing expansion joints on the Reljevo viaduct, on the Sarajevo north-Butila motorway section, vehicles are moving in one traffic lane in the direction of travel. On the Podlugovi-Visoko section, due to works on installing crash barriers at the work site, a passing lane is in use, and the speed is limited to 60 km/h.

Due to ongoing works in the Doboj area, as well as works on the Doboj-Matuzići section, and increased vehicle traffic, traffic is significantly slowed and there are long queues.

Rehabilitation works are also ongoing on the main roads: Turbe-Nević Polje (Kalibunar), Simin Han-Donje Caparde, Stupari-Živinice, Prozor/Rama-Jablanica, Foča-Ustikolina and Međeđa-Višegrad.

On the main road Rogatica-Ustiprača, due to bridge damage, vehicles up to 30 tons are moving in one lane, while traffic for vehicles over 30 tons is suspended.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over five tons maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Freight vehicles over five tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses may use the GP Šepak crossing.
