Long queues of vehicles at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina at several border crossings

(Patria) - There are long queues of vehicles exiting Bosnia and Herzegovina at the border crossings: Izačić, Velika Kladuša, Gradiška, Orašje, Ivanica and Doljani, while traffic is increased at the entrance to Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Šepak border crossing. Traffic frequency is also increasing at other border crossings from time to time, but delays are currently not longer than 30 minutes. Due to bridge damage, the Brčko border crossing can only be used by pedestrians.

With better weather conditions, we are recording an increased number of cyclists, motorcyclists, and electric scooter users. We appeal to all road users to adhere to traffic regulations. Given the high temperatures that make driving conditions difficult, we recommend taking more frequent breaks during the journey and ensuring adequate fluid intake to avoid dehydration and fatigue.

Traffic is suspended on the main road Jablanica-Blidinje, as well as on the regional road Ugljevik-Glavičice, in the village of Ugljevik.

Due to active landslides, we highlight the main roads Dobro Polje-Foča (at the locations Sijeračke stijene and Tuhalji) and Gacko-Tjentište (between the Čemerno and Surdup tunnels).

Works are underway on the main roads: Tuzla-Šićki Brod (turn for Lipnica), Ustikolina-Goražde (Mravinjac), Sarajevo-Pale, and Jablanica-Mostar (Donja Jablanica).

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can travel through the Šepak border crossing from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 10 PM to 6 AM (on weekends, they can cross between 10 PM and 6 AM).
