Long line of vehicles at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina via Velika Kladuša Border Crossing

(Patria) - Morning fog reduces visibility on sections in valleys and along river courses.

Traffic intensity is low, but during the day, we expect increased vehicle intensity, especially at the entrances to larger urban centers. We particularly highlight the entrances to Sarajevo (toll booths, highway exit, as well as the Vogošća interchange).

We advise drivers to drive with maximum caution, maintain a safe distance between vehicles, and always use seat belts.

We kindly ask truck drivers to temporarily pull over when they notice a long line of passenger vehicles behind them, in order to avoid dangerous overtaking.

Traffic is suspended on the Ključ-Sanski Most main road (at the entrance to Sanski Most) and is being redirected to the bypass.

Due to damage to the bridge on the Rogatica-Ustiprača main road, vehicles up to 30 tons are using one lane, with a speed limit of 30 km/h, while traffic is suspended for vehicles over 30 tons.

Reconstruction works are underway on the main roads: Tarčin-Konjic, Tuzla-Kalesija (in the settlement of Miljanovci), Kladanj-Vlasenica (Gojsalići), Jelah-Doboj (Karuše), Dobro Polje-Miljevina, Jablanica-Potoci (in Donja Jablanica), Bijeljina-Rača, Čevljanovići-Nišići, at the roundabout at the entrance to Bosanska Gradiška, as well as in Sarajevo (on the transit route, from Bistrik towards Vrace). Traffic is slowed down at the work sites.

There is a long line of passenger vehicles at the Velika Kladuša border crossing at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina. At other border crossings, passenger vehicle traffic is currently proceeding with delays of up to 30 minutes.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are being redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing.

On the occasion of Orthodox Easter, the transport of explosives in Bosnia and Herzegovina is prohibited tonight until midnight.
