(Patria) - BiH citizens and their relatives from Gaza have finally landed at Sarajevo International Airport. They were welcomed at the airport by family members and citizens.
Some of them will arrive in Sarajevo tonight at 8 PM.
Sumeja Hadžić Jusufović is not expecting any family members. She says she empathizes with all of them and brought sweets for the youngest.
“I have been empathizing with them for over 40 days now, I follow it daily. It hurts me a lot. I am doing what I think I can do the most. I have prepared sweets for the children, I am helping as much as I can. I think the Bosnian people can empathize with them because we were also refugees once. We should help, and anyone with humanity will not turn a blind eye to their suffering,” Sumeja told N1.
Our citizens managed to cross the Rafah border crossing into Egypt, and after staying in Cairo, they were transferred to Istanbul, from where they are coming to Sarajevo.
