Coaches' Gathering: Šuman Wishes Baždarević and the Dragons Luck in Match Against Estonia

Coach of the BiH handball team Bilal Šuman visited the coach of the football Dragons Mehmed Baždarević last night at the "Hercegovina" hotel in Ilidža and wished them luck in the match against Estonia, which will be played on September 6th in Zenica, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

The two coaches spent time in pleasant conversation, and Elvedin Begić, president of the Football Association of BiH, was also with them.

Šuman believes that our football team can qualify for the World Cup in Russia, and considers a victory at the start against Estonia to be excellent for the further course of the qualifiers. At the beginning of the gathering, Baždarević congratulated Šuman on his appointment and inquired about his work plan for the national team. Our handball ace informed him that he will also be in charge of the youth selections and that he is trying to secure the same number of gatherings for them throughout the year as for the seniors.  

- Throughout my life, I have always been well acquainted with handball. From Sarajevo, through France, Qatar, I have always enjoyed socializing with handball players. From this conversation, I realized that Šuman has a true sporting vision, but everyone needs to help him implement it. I hope that individuals will fulfill their promises and put their words into action – said Mehmed Baždarević and wished the BiH handball players luck in the qualifiers for the European Championship, where they are in a group with Spain, Austria, and Finland.
