Social Responsibility: Acknowledgment to Bet Live Bookmakers for Supporting the Sportsman of the Year Election in Zenica

Sports bookmakers 'Bet Live' supported this year's Sportsman of the City of Zenica Election, which is a traditional event in this city.

It was announced from the bookmakers that 'Bet Live' bookmakers have once again shown social responsibility. The development of sports in Zenica, as well as in other cities in BiH, is important to them. That is why they encourage sports events. They particularly support young athletes and their affirmation.

At the end of last year, the Mayor of Zenica, Fuad Kasumović, proposed, and the city councilors supported by a majority vote, an increase in utility fees for bookmakers in the Zenica area, from 3,000 to 30,000 to 50,000 KM, depending on the bookmaker's location. Game organizers called such a decision unconstitutional because it discriminates against one type of activity compared to others. The Constitution of the Federation of BiH does not allow such a thing. A group of six councilors from Snaga centra and two councilors from A SDA requested an assessment of the constitutionality of such a decision afterwards.
