Dr. Pašagić victim of a system that takes lives along with the coronavirus, and it took them before, when will it stop!

In Sarajevo, a respected doctor, epidemiologist, and community member from whom society benefited greatly, Šefik Pašagić, has passed away. The cause of death, the test will show after the third attempt, is coronavirus. He tested negative twice previously, but the ordeal he went through proves what the objective public knows, and what the family finally admitted with sadness – Dr. Pašagić, at the age of 61, was killed by the healthcare system.

The prosecution is deliberating whether or not there will be an investigation, and Dr. Pašagić did not deserve this, just as the late Advija Kanlić did not deserve to lie dead for days while no one would perform an autopsy!

The death of Šefik Pašagić, who, it no longer matters, but let it be recorded, disinfected the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo with silver ions to protect colleagues and patients, reminded us all of the horrors we are living through.

The lack of reaction from doctors and the profession is further disturbing.

Just about fifteen days ago, Dr. Pašagić was giving statements about the coronavirus, warning, advising, sharing his knowledge, and then he faced the system. 

Face to face, and no one cares. We didn't even know he was sick. How do people who have no one, like Dr. Pašagić, who has a wife who spoke out, end up? As bravely as her late husband did.

Will Dr. Sebija Izetbegović finally explain to us how the late Pašagić ended up at Podhrastovi, how doctors lack protective equipment, and you refuse a donation. 
How is it that we didn't know about Dr. Pašagić's illness?

One thing is certain, the time will come when someone will have to answer for all the questions.

As if we are ready for everything, but ready for nothing. This is evidenced by the stories of real people, not "our" sources, the stories of those who said goodbye to their loved ones in agony fighting the system, calling known and unknown people, seeking salvation. Seeking the right to medicine. As if we are in Somalia, begging for human rights.

With the implemented measures, we have slowed down the spread of the epidemic, but we have not managed to slow down the system that takes lives along with the coronavirus, and it took them before the coronavirus. It's time for it to stop! We learned from you doctors that disinfection is a crucial thing in preventing infectious diseases and that three things are important – that disinfection is done by a good company, that adequate chemical agents and equipment are used, and that without this, there is no professional disinfection. But, how will we fight the system, the one that ultimately killed you too!
