ZENICA, (Patria) – Three initially infected persons with coronavirus have been sent home after their swabs were negative for coronavirus, but they will be at home and under medical supervision for the next 15 days, confirmed Ednan Drljević, head of the Department for Infectious and Contagious Diseases at the Cantonal Hospital in Zenica, for Patria.
He said that these three patients, a woman, her daughter, and son-in-law, can be in the same space because it is not strict isolation, but rather 15 days of caution given that it is a supervirus.
“They will be in contact with us all the time, as well as with a psychologist,” said Drljević.
They were accommodated in a separate annex of the Infectious Diseases Department of the Cantonal Hospital Zenica the entire time.
Dr. Drljević told NAP in an interview that they also have a patient with coronavirus who underwent surgery and is on a respirator, but his life is not in danger. Other patients infected with coronavirus in the Zenica-Doboj Canton also have a moderately severe clinical picture.
