Dortmund: Explosion near players' bus, Borussia vs Monaco match cancelled

In the evening hours, an explosion occurred in front of the bus carrying Borussia Dortmund football players. The explosion happened on the street in front of the bus, about ten kilometres from the "Signal-Iduna-Park" stadium, where the Champions League quarter-final match between Borussia and Monaco was scheduled to be played tonight, but has been cancelled. The match should be played on Wednesday, Patria reports.

German newspaper Bild writes that three bombs exploded and were deliberately placed near the bus.

According to "Bild", among the injured is the home team's defender Marc Bartra, who was taken to hospital. He sustained cuts from glass shards.

Heavy police presence is on the streets of Dortmund.
