House of Peoples of PSBiH Adopts Amendments to the Law on Administrative Fees

(Patria) - At the 18th urgent session of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly (PS) of BiH, the Law on Amendments to the Law on Administrative Fees, proposed by the Council of Ministers of BiH, was adopted.

The following draft laws were adopted, in the first reading and upon the proposal of the Council of Ministers of BiH:

• Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Administrative Procedure;
• Draft Law on Patents;
• Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Industrial Design;
• Draft Law on Trademarks;
• Draft Law on the Protection of Trade Secrets as Intellectual Property Rights;
• Draft Law on the Protection of Topographies of Semiconductor Products;
• Draft Law on Representation in the Field of Industrial Property Rights.

The House of Peoples did not adopt the request to consider the Draft Law on the Regulator, Transmission and Market of Electricity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by the Council of Ministers of BiH, under an urgent legislative procedure. The House decided that this Draft Law would be considered under an abbreviated legislative procedure.

The Draft Law on Measuring Units in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the first reading, proposed by the Council of Ministers of BiH, was sent to the Collegium of the House for harmonization due to the lack of an entity majority.
