Captain Edin Džeko's arrival completes the Dragons squad

Edin Džeko also arrived at the Training Camp in Zenica late in the afternoon. Following his injury, the BiH team captain underwent necessary examinations and therapies in Rome, and will continue with a special work program during the preparations in Zenica, it was announced by the Football Association of BiH, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Coach Mehmed Baždarević now has all invited players together, and regardless of injury problems, everyone is in contention for the upcoming matches against Wales and Cyprus.

Regarding the health status of other national team players, Lulić had hamstring problems, but he is now well and is performing all required tasks without issues.

Ermin Zec and Sead Kolašinac are continuing with therapies after complaining of back problems (Zec) and pain in the Achilles tendon area (Kolašinac). A decision on whether they can play will be made on Friday after the official training session. For now, the coach is counting on all players.

- Kolašinac and Zec arrived with minor injuries. They are undergoing therapy, and we will do everything to have them ready for Saturday. They will be rested tonight, and we will make a final decision about them on Friday - said coach Mehmed Baždarević before the start of training.

When asked by Welsh journalists if their national team is a surprise of the qualifiers, Baždarević replied:

- Wales is not a surprise. It is a nation that loves and invests in football. They are a quality national team. However, I hope they will congratulate us on a victory this weekend.

National team players Ervin Zukanović and Edin Višća also addressed the media representatives.

- Expectations are high, and we all want to achieve a good result. All national teams have a certain quality, including Wales. However, we must focus on ourselves, approach the match with maximum seriousness, and impose our game to win three points - said Zukanović.

Višća believes that the opponent might opt for a defensive game.

- I expect us to win. The opponent only needs a point, and perhaps they will come to defend. We only have victory in mind, and we will have to approach it aggressively and with maximum commitment. The atmosphere in the team is excellent. The bad thing is that there are several injured players, but everyone who is in the squad on Saturday will give their best to win.
