Djokovic wins fifth Wimbledon trophy

(Patria) - Novak Djokovic won Wimbledon for the fifth time today with a 3-2 set victory over Roger Federer.

After a five-hour match, which was decided by a tie-break for the first time in history, Djokovic could not hide his emotions.

"This is probably the most exciting final I have ever played, and against one of the greatest players of all time, Roger, whom I respect a lot. Roger inspires me, and I hope I will play like him at 37 as well. Unfortunately, someone has to lose in matches like these. It's surreal that I saved two match points, and it was strange to play a tie-break at 12:12," said Djokovic, who thanked everyone for their support.

The world's best tennis player thus reached his 16th Grand Slam tournament title, and is now four trophies behind Federer.
