While Dodik finalizes RS secession, political factions in Sarajevo quarrel over the murky Miljacka!

While the entire pro-Bosnian and Bosniak public is entertained by politicking and epic demagoguery from a political puppet aware that his political career is nearing its end, the secessionist partners of that demagogic puppet have entered the final phase of the final division of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

And while political partners and opponents were preoccupied with the validity of the head of diplomacy's diploma and his bourbon against the image of a partner of one of the most powerful cartels, Milorad Dodik and his separatist crew could peacefully organize a working group to prepare for secession.

And that is the last step in the roadmap, after which comes concretization, i.e., secession.

The first devastating fact in the story of forming an operational group to prepare for the secession of the Republika Srpska entity is that the Intelligence-Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina did not react, meaning we only learned about the information after Washington imposed sanctions on the organizers of January 9th and those involved in the operational group.

The fact that the insolence of political demagogues has long surpassed measurement scales is shown by the fact that Elmedin Konaković, the entertainer puppet, claimed after all this that he and his coalition cronies had returned OSA to the citizens and that it was now a functional system. That might be true, but the question is in whose interest it functions, knowing that at the very beginning of its "liberation," OSA allowed individuals dangerous to national security into the country, without informing us about the preparations for secession.

It is also devastating that many different officials in the chain of state authority have access to secret and top-secret information, and who have either remained silent about possible knowledge of the secession operational group or remained silent about the failure of the authorities to inform them of such knowledge.

Therefore, the political state apparatus and system are so lethargic and ruined that no alarm bell rang anywhere about Dodik's preparations for the division of Bosnia and Herzegovina. If it weren't for the American administration, the uninformed in Bosnia and Herzegovina would still claim that the secession story is Dodik's cover for crime, while the informed would be grinding their teeth and keyboards to prove otherwise.

However, the most devastating part of the whole story is the complete silence after the Americans exposed Dodik's actions and opened our eyes, so that we could wake up the very next morning in Bosnia and Herzegovina occupying 51 percent of the territory.

A long time ago, Muharem Cero and I concluded in articles on these pages that phalangism is a dangerous path for patriotic policies, and thus for the existence of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Because, while the phalanxes from opposing political poles are tearing each other apart like chickens, nitpicking and pushing each other, Dodik is peacefully in his Laktaši residence, freed from trial by a Sarajevo ruling, engaged in what we long ago defined as his key political goal.

Instead of an effectively directed action by all that is called pro-Bosnian/Bosniak political power for a final reckoning with secessionism, their silence on Milorad Dodik's most concrete secessionist move echoes loudly.

And how can they have time to deal with the state, which is their job, when they are busy 24/7 defending or attacking opposing phalanxes. And that is the most dangerous thing in the whole story, because it is obvious that after the Trojka project handed over the security-intelligence sector to Dodik's cadres, political factors based in Sarajevo spend most of their time in factional conflicts (chicken coop squabbles). This has ultimately freed up significant space for the separatist Dodik to take concrete action.

The only fortunate circumstance in the whole story is that the American administration currently does not want the Western Balkans to be a volatile region, with the possible renewal of armed conflict.

However, if political factions based in Sarajevo continue to behave like inhabitants of a chicken coop, it is not impossible for Dodik to seize a moment when American and other Western administrations are busy solving bigger problems in the world, and then proceed to finalize his plan.

How lost the pro-Bosnian/Bosniak political structure is in the fight for factional dominance is also shown by the fact that no one has yet announced, let alone initiated, the question of criminal responsibility for undermining the state, i.e., attempting to divide it.

The change that needs to happen in political Sarajevo is clearly no longer a matter of democracy, elections, or similar masquerades. A change in political narrative and direction is vitally necessary.

For that to happen, parties that call themselves patriotic must get rid of the need for factional bourbon and define long-defined red lines, as well as plans on how to defend those lines. The survival of the state is currently on shaky ground and clearly depends on foreign diplomatic/political assistance. However, if factional wars continue in political Sarajevo, the biggest culprits for the collapse of Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be in Banja Luka. The culprits for its initiation will be there, and the most responsible will be the factional demagogues from political Sarajevo.
