Bomb threat at SDP's celebration of BiH Statehood Day in Banja Luka, police evacuated the hotel for EOD inspection

(Patria) - A bomb threat was reported at the celebration of BiH Statehood Day organized by SDP at the "Marriott" Hotel in Banja Luka, confirmed for Vijesti.ba.

Attendees at the ceremonial academy did not want to interrupt the celebration, but the police decided to evacuate the hotel and conduct an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) inspection.

The event was interrupted after the address by the President of SDP BiH and Prime Minister of FBiH, Nermin Nikšić.

SDP BiH Vice-President Vojin Mijatović claimed that Milorad Dodik was behind the incident, adding that the party would continue to celebrate BiH Statehood Day in Banja Luka.

Incidentally, SDP BiH has been celebrating Bosnia and Herzegovina Statehood Day in Banja Luka for the fourth year.
