
(Patria) - At the initiative of the Institute for Addiction Diseases, a meeting was held today at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of ZDC to discuss possibilities for improving joint action in the field of addiction prevention.
The meeting agreed on the signing of a memorandum of cooperation that will ensure a systematic and coordinated approach to prevention, with active participation of the Ministry, the Institute for Addiction Diseases, and centers for social work and competent social protection services in the area of ZDC.
Special emphasis was placed on the importance of timely preventive activities in local communities, strengthening cooperation between institutions, and involving experts from various fields to jointly respond to the challenges posed by different forms of addiction.
It was highlighted that the signing of the Memorandum aims to improve cooperation, strengthen the capacities of professional services, and implement joint projects focused on preserving the health and safety of citizens, especially young people.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and the Institute for Addiction Diseases expressed readiness to contribute, through joint work and responsibility with other institutions, to building a safer and healthier social environment.
