21st SFF Concluded with Award Ceremony, Next Edition to be Held from August 12 to 20

The 21st Sarajevo Film Festival concluded on Saturday evening with an award ceremony, and the next, 22nd edition, will be held from August 12 to 20, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

Over nine festival days, 259 films from 59 countries were screened.

The Heart of Sarajevo for Best Film went to Mustang, while Güneş Şensoy, Doğa Doğuşlu, Tuğba Sunguroğlu, Elit Işcan, Ilayda Akdoğan were proclaimed best actresses for their roles in Mustang.

The best actors of the SFF are Yorgos Kéntros, Vangelis Mouríkis, Panos Kóronis, Makis Papadimitríou, Yorgos Pyrpassópoulos, Sakis Rouvás for the Greek film Chevalier.
 

The Honorary Heart of Sarajevo was awarded to Atom Egoyan, director, and Benicio Del Toro, actor.
