Miroslav Vujičić, former chief of staff of the BiH Presidency member Nebojša Radmanović, who earned the nickname "king of nepotism" for employing almost his entire family and his wife's family at the state trough, has set his sights on the position of director of the Employment Institute of Republika Srpska, reports the Patria news agency.
After his boss Radmanović served two terms in the BiH Presidency, Vujičić settled into a comfortable position as head of the Department for Common Affairs and Procurement at the Central Bank of BiH.
Since that apparently did not satisfy his vanity and desire for positions, he has set his sights on an even more comfortable and much more lucrative position, that of director of the Employment Institute of Republika Srpska, currently held by former Rudo mayor and former SNSD vice-president Milko Čolaković.
Press revealed more than two years ago that Miroslav Vujičić began his nepotism and employment of his closest relatives and friends back in 2006.
The "king of nepotism", as soon as he was installed as head of Radmanović's cabinet, employed a close relative of his wife, Neda Šehovac Lazarević, as a secretary.
His wife Bojana works in the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, as does their kuma Renata, and Vujičić did his utmost to also employ his brother-in-law, i.e., his wife's brother Bojan, in that ministry, whom he had previously helped to get a job at the BiH Directorate for Civil Aviation.
A relative of his wife, Spomenko Šehovac, was also appointed director of the Regional Unit of the Tax Administration in East Sarajevo, while Branimir Bane Šehovac advanced from the position of inspector, which he held in 2006, to the position of deputy chief of the CJB East Sarajevo, but was later removed from that function.
In addition, Vujičić helped one of his sons-in-law to advance in the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), and he worked for years in the escort of Nebojša Radmanović, who was completely surrounded by people of Vujičić's greatest trust.
In addition to the aforementioned Neda Šehovac Lazarević, whom he employed as a secretary in Radmanović's cabinet in 2006, Vujičić employed family friend Goran Pejušić as a driver in the cabinet, while his kuma Boris Buha was a legal advisor, and he employed his most loyal party colleague Nebojša Šešlija in the cabinet in 2012 as soon as he finished college.
In addition to nepotism, Vujičić also exploited all other benefits of power, so he and his wife received a housing loan from the Investment-Development Bank under the credit line for young married couples, as well as a subsidy from the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of Republika Srpska.
With that loan, they bought an apartment in the center of East Novo Sarajevo, while he calls the shots in the SNSD Municipal Committee in East Ilidža.
