Dodik calls for the Council of Ministers to be formed as soon as possible

(Patria) - Milorad Dodik, Chairman of the BiH Presidency and SNSD leader, said at a press conference that SNSD is committed to forming the government.

Dodik said that the Serb people supported the ruling coalition in the recent elections, and that the government in RS has been established and the Budget adopted.

"This cannot be said for the BiH level," Dodik said.

He stated that the Council of Ministers of BiH is an auxiliary body of the Presidency.

"BiH does not have a government, but a Council of Ministers. Either the Constitution needs to be changed or we need to adapt to it. The current representatives of Serbs in state institutions are not legitimate representatives of Serbs, and Bosniak politics prevents Serbs from being legitimately represented. There are no conditions, as Bosniak politics does," Dodik said, accusing the still current ministers of working for centers of power.

The European Commission, Dodik reminds, said how the government should be formed.

"The EC will certainly not be the Commission we have seen so far. In that regard, we can expect reduced interest, and therefore we have missed another opportunity. I don't know what the opinion says, but it would certainly be different if we had managed to form the government earlier," Dodik emphasized.

BiH, according to Dodik, is in its biggest crisis so far, and the current stalemate is completely unnecessary.
