Dodik: Social distancing is the best medicine in this case

(Patria) - Milorad Dodik, member of the BiH Presidency, said that the coronavirus crisis is global and that it will not bypass us either.

"We have infected and deceased, but it is not expansive as in some other cases," said Dodik.

He said it was necessary to prevent the virus from entering the central block, gynecology, pediatrics, and other sensitive departments.

"The facility we left a few months ago is now useful for accommodating patients infected with coronavirus, and God willing, it will remain unoccupied," said Dodik after visiting the facility within the old Surgery in Banja Luka, where the adaptation and arrangement of these premises are nearing completion.

Dodik said that all measures taken so far, both entity and city level, are aimed at preventing the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

He said that social distancing is the best medicine in this case.

Dodik said that Republika Srpska has ordered and paid for 130 ventilators from China.
