Dodik against the national football team in Banja Luka, but wants to save the Basketball Federation of BiH

SARAJevo, (Patria) – Will you support the initiative for the BiH football team to play in Banja Luka, but also in Mostar in the future, was the question posed today to the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Milorad Dodik, by an N1 journalist.  

“I will not support it. Let the football team play where it plays, there is no need for it to play in Banja Luka. Personally, whoever is the president of the Football Federation, they handle technical issues. I think it would be a high-risk event and we don't need that. I am not a fan of the BiH national team at any representative level, but as a person, I am not immune to congratulating good moves and successes. Let them play football, let them win, I cheer for another national team and I am happy when Serbia wins in any sport,” Dodik said.  

However, although not asked, Dodik continued his answer on his own, switching to the Basketball Federation of BiH.  

“I am ready to help the KS BiH, which has serious problems, if my colleagues want it, it is several million marks to fix all their problems and to instruct certain structures to do it. Basketball should be played and I have no problem with that,” said Dodik.
