Dodik to those who did not attend: RS is open for dialogue whenever you are ready

(Patria) - The President of RS and SNSD, Milorad Dodik, experienced a true fiasco today at a meeting in Doboj.

Only his closest associates and representatives of SNSD's satellite parties such as DEMOS, Socialist Party, and United Srpska responded.

At a press conference, Dodik stated that RS did not cause a constitutional-legal crisis in BiH, but rather "exclusively reacted to attempts to undermine its constitutional capacity".

He assessed that the crisis was caused by the Court of BiH, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, and High Representative Christian Schmidt.

"A foreigner is intervening in laws, and the most important institutions in BiH remain silent on the violation of rights," Dodik stated after the failed meeting.

He emphasizes that it is important to conduct "dialogue, not dictate," adding that dialogue is a recommendation of the UN Security Council, respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Dodik told the parties that did not respond to the invitation for today's meeting in Doboj that RS is open for dialogue whenever they are ready.

He also stated that "RS is perfectly reading and noting their non-response for talks today".

"We offered a declaration and believe there are not many unclear things. We confirmed BiH's territorial integrity and sovereignty in accordance with the BiH Constitution," Dodik said.

He asserted that precisely those who did not come to the meeting do not respect BiH's territorial integrity and sovereignty in accordance with the BiH Constitution.

He also stated that the declaration lists other open issues related to BiH's European path.

According to him, they wanted to inform partners about the German coalition agreement, which advocates for halting accession until the EU resolves internal relations issues through reforms, namely the abolition of consensus as a voting method and the introduction of majority voting.

"As far as I know, most countries do not want that," Dodik said.

He questioned why European issues would be addressed if EU accession was halted.

"Why should we give up part of our sovereignty without any indication of when the problem in the EU will be resolved?" Dodik asked.

Representatives of parties from the Federation of BiH, as well as opposition parties from RS, did not attend today's meeting in Doboj.
