Dodik and Lavrov: Russia will support the extension of the Althea mission

(Patria) - SNSD leader Milorad Dodik met today in Minsk with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

Dodik told RTRS, after the official meeting with Lavrov, that the first topic of the meeting was the session of the UN Security Council and that it was agreed that the mandate of the Althea Mission should be extended, which Russia will support.

He stated that it is important for such meetings to be held continuously, recalling that they last met in Moscow, and now in Minsk at the International Security Conference.

Dodik said that they also discussed the positioning of the high representative who is not a high representative.

- It has been known for some time that we, together with representatives of the Russian Embassy, will work to harmonize the report - Dodik emphasized.

He said that he also discussed with Lavrov "the developments in the Republic of Srpska", and that he informed the head of Russian diplomacy that the situation in RS is stable.
