Dodik and Džaferović spoke with Federica Mogherini

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Chairman of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik and BiH Presidency member Šefik Džaferović spoke last night in Tirana with the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini about the current political situation in BiH.

The topic of the meeting was the formation of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the fulfillment of the remaining conditions for obtaining candidate status. The need was expressed to maintain positive dynamics in the country's European path, taking into account the current situation. The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini reiterated her support for the European perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Members of the BiH Presidency expressed gratitude for the support so far and emphasized their belief that the European Commission's Opinion will be positive, and that candidate status for EU membership will be granted shortly thereafter.

At the end of the meeting, they extended an invitation to the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On behalf of the BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić, envoy Branimir Jukić attended the meeting.

The meeting with Mogherini came after a working dinner organized by the Albanian President Ilir Meta, ahead of today's Brdo-Brijuni Process summit.

We remind you that BiH Presidency members Milorad Dodik and Šefik Džaferović, and advisor to BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić, Branimir Jukić, will participate today in Tirana in the plenary meeting of the Brijuni Process.
