Good atmosphere in the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, everyone confident of victory against Bulgaria

RAZGRAD, (Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team will play a friendly match in Razgrad against hosts Bulgaria in three days, with the first players arriving in this Bulgarian city on Monday.

Currently in Bulgaria are players who play in the domestic league, while the arrival of our national team players who play in European clubs is expected during Tuesday.

- There were no problems, everything went smoothly and without delays. I just hope that the players arriving today will also have no difficulties. We had time to rest and, despite this snow, we are ready for training - said Goran Zakarić, a footballer from Sarajevo's Željezničar, for the official website of the Football Association.

The best player of the team from Grbavica hopes for playing time in the matches against Bulgaria and Senegal.

- The selector has already announced that most players will get some playing time, so not only me but any of us, and we are playing well in our clubs, can hope for an appearance in these two matches. I haven't thought much about the opponents; I know Senegal has several players who play in top clubs. It will certainly be difficult, but we need to give our best and achieve good results.

The Željezničar national team player is in excellent form, confirmed by this call-up to the national team:

- I can be satisfied because I am playing quite well, scoring goals, and we are first in the table. I am also happy about this call-up to the national team, so I can't wait for the training and matches to start. I will give my best to help myself, but also the national team and the selector to achieve what they have set out. The most important thing is that when all this is over, we are healthy and satisfied with what we have achieved.

One of the players from the domestic league who received a call-up from Robert Prosinečki is Sarajevo midfielder Elvis Sarić, who earned the call-up with his performances on the American tour.

- Certainly, those appearances brought many positive things. It is a great honor and privilege to be a member of the national team, especially in such company with the names that BiH has. The fact that after that you become a bit more interesting to some coaches and people in football cannot be ignored - says Sarić.

Sarić says he was not nervous in his first appearances and hopes to get a chance to play against the Bulgarians as well.

- I couldn't say I was nervous; it was more of a positive anxiety. Maybe that's because we were all players from the domestic league, so we more or less know each other, and it was easier to overcome that start. Now that all the national team players arrive, I can only repeat that it will be an honor to meet them personally, share the locker room, and play.

Mostar's Zrinjski goalkeeper Kenan Pirić also believes he will get a chance to stand in goal in one of the upcoming two matches.

- I believe that, since Begović and Burić are not here, I could get a chance and, regardless of whether it's two minutes or thirty, it's a pleasure to put on the jersey and stand in goal.

The American tour has special significance for Pirić, as he made his first appearance for the national team in the match against Mexico. The emotions, as he says, are hard to describe:

- It's a completely different feeling to put on the national team jersey and stand in goal than when I was defending for Sloboda or now for Zrinjski. Simply, my heart was beating "two hundred per hour" and I was a bit nervous at the beginning. I will always remember that moment when I entered the game. Besides my heart pounding, I got goosebumps because I was aware that I was playing against a quality opponent in a tense match. Moreover, I was so focused that I only later realized that in 45 minutes I hadn't looked at the clock, which I think never happened to me before. I tried to defend as best I could and show myself in the best possible light to the new boss, as well as the goalkeeper coach - emphasized Kenan Pirić.

The match between Bulgaria and BiH will be played on March 23 at 6 PM, while three days later the match against Senegal in Le Havre is scheduled.
